Self Portrait of Qaiz.

The best images to use on our posts are ones we have created ourselves or our own photos. We have been using Google Drawing to create our own and have learnt how to use new tools to make a self portrait.
We took a selfie and had to make sure we had our head and shoulders in the picture before we fitted it to the page.
Next we used the polyline tool to draw around our face because it is the only line tool that you can colour in.
This was tricky because we had to keep on tapping because it was straight lines.
Next we had to match our skin colour and then we went into the custom tool so we could make our fill transparent.
We did this so we can see our eyes  and face shapes
We used the magnifying tool to zoom in
I’m happy with the way my head looks on my self portrait because it  is a really good shape.
I will have to work on my lines because they were quite tricky

Daffodil Day

We went to Shantytown to lean about being a detective and cracking codes. We went in peoples cars, I got go in my car. When we got there we had to the go to the town we went inside. The people who didn’t have a detective costume had to get dressed in Shantytown clothes. We got detective training in a group. We had Billy Eilish and me and Summer and Andrew. We had to find groups of 5 for our training. When our training was complete we got to in the real mission. We started cracking a code when we cracked it said thief so when we went out we went to the barber shop we measured the door he was 200 high. After we went to the out side the train station we found out what time he went, he went at am 9.45. After that we wento the jewellery store we found out that he stole 17 coins. Then went to the to hospital he stole 2 sheets and a 1 pillowcase and a 1 pillow. Then we had lunch then went to the bread shop to get fingerprints from glass. Then we got our fingerprints. None of us were the thief. We found out his name is George Brown...Then we went in an train to find George Brown. We didn’t find him we came back to crack a code when we cracked it we had to go back and paint the words. we were number 1. then went back to school and it was home time. by Qaiz

Releasing the skinks

We went to find the skinks a home. Jamie brought them in from his house> His mum dropped them off. Jamie  had to choose the home out of 3 places he chose the sunny place by Qaiz
